Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and the operator of Hotend (“Hotend”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Hotend apps, website, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. What Hotend does

Hotend lets you monitor and control Klipper/Moonraker 3D printers, slice models, and receive alerts, from your own devices. Hotend is a software service — you supply and operate your own printer and hardware.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including breaking the law, disrupting or attacking the Service or other users, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or reselling the Service without our permission.

4. Plans, billing & renewals

• Free, Pro and Farm are described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled.
• Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase that grants Pro features for the operational lifetime of the Service. It is non-transferable and does not guarantee the Service will operate indefinitely.
• Payments are processed by our reseller/merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes don’t affect the period you’ve already paid for.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including remedies for services not supplied with due care or as described. For refund requests, contact [email protected].

6. Your printer & safety

3D printers involve high temperatures and moving parts and can cause fire, injury, or damage if left unattended. You are responsible for operating your printer safely and supervising your prints. Features such as AI failure detection and auto-pause are best-effort aids, not a safety guarantee, and must not be relied on as your only safeguard.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but provide it “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hotend is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage to prints, printers, or property arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the Service or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or the law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
